Winners of PGDF ’11 Annual Awards Announced

GDAP is pleased to announce this year’s winners for the first-ever PGDF Annual awards, which celebrates the best of Pinoy game development. Last December 10, 2011, all winners proudly took to the stage in a full-packed event at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde attended by developers, students, businesses, and industry professionals.

The winners were chosen by a panel of expert jurors, including Mon Macutay (Marketing Director, LevelUp Games), James Palabay (President/CEO of Digital Art Chefs), Darwin Tardio (COO and Co-Founder, FunGuy Studio), Jen Yu (Board Member, IGDA Manila), and jury chairman Paul Gadi, Chairman of IGDA Manila.

PGDF Annual Awards was hosted by Lyshiel Valencia and Alvin Juban, of MoAnima and Studio of Secret 6 respectively. The event is an annual celebration and recognition of the talent and creativity of Pinoy game developers. This year’s ceremony was organized by GDAP’s PGDF Awards committee led by Wilma Valderrama of CheQ Systems.
